Oh boy, that is when the real action began as many females ran up to have their picture taken with him. At least you would know all the lyrics.Next up was our trip one hour north of Hua Hin. Our stop provided flushing toilets a short climb up Hao Nang Phanthurat Forest Park trail and for the first time we saw wild monkeys. The views were amazing from the top.Unbeknowst to us the appeal of camping is just starting to trend here in Thailand. The so called friends at my table were a little too excited about inviting Elvis to our table.

16 dead, million seek shelter as cyclone hits Bangladesh

KUAKATA — At least 16 people died after a cyclone slammed into Bangladesh, forcing the evacuation of about a million people from their homes, officials said Tuesday (Oct 25). Around 10 million people were without power in 15 coastal districts, while schools were shut across southern and southwestern regions. Cyclone Sitrang made landfall in southern Bangladesh late Monday but authorities managed to get about a million people to safety before the monster weather system hit. In some cases police had to cajole villagers who were reluctant to abandon their homes, officials said. Cyclone Amphan, the second "super cyclone" ever recorded over the Bay of Bengal, which hit in 2020, killed more than 100 people in Bangladesh and India, and affected millions.

WWE star Kevin Nash says his son, 26, died after a seizure

Former WWE star Kevin Nash said that the death of his 26-year-old son last week was a result of a seizure that caused cardiac arrest. Kevin Nash said the seizure came after he and his son decided they were going to quit drinking alcohol. Kevin Nash, shown during an interview with host Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" in 1999, was one of WWE's biggest stars in the '90s. "One of the things of cold turkey is that you have an increased risk of having a seizure," Nash said. He was the "sweetest, kindest gentlest human being on earth," Kevin Nash said.

Raphael Warnock defeated Republican football star Herschel Walker on Dec. 6 in Georgia’s Senate runoff election, NBC News projects, handing President Joe Biden and his party a key win. The win cements President Joe Biden’s unexpected midterm success, allowing his party to grow the majority in the Senate. Senate Republicans had been hoping to get a head start on the 2024 election, when the electoral map heavily favors the GOP. Georgia has been a reliably red state until just two years ago, when it voted for President Joe Biden and then elected Warnock and fellow Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff in twin runoff elections. Walker has warned Republicans that they need to turn out to stop national Democrats from gaining more power.

Father of Idaho slayings victim says Bryan Kohberger wouldn’t look at him in court

Bryan Kohberger, who is accused of killing four University of Idaho students in November 2022, appears at a hearing in Latah County District Court on Jan. 5. It is unclear why the surviving roommates did not call 911 until around noon. TODAYHe added he didn't think it was "legible" that either of the two surviving roommates could be "criminal." Police have said they do not believe either of the surviving roommates were involved in the crime. The DNA from the knife sheath showed a connection to a DNA profile obtained from the trash, the affidavit said.
