With the release of sophisticated chatbots like OpenAI's ChatGPT, effective human-AI dialogue has become interesting and accessible to everyone. So what would today's AI chatbots have to say about such dialogue? Dialogue, on the other hand, engages listeners in a way AI chatbots might also be adapted to do. If we're worried about plagiarism why not train students to work with AI writing assistants and learn to think through the dialogue? By thinking through dialogue we could all rediscover the rich history and potential of this form of engagement.

The most common question I have been getting from students and faculty colleagues is why would Musk want to take Twitter private? For starters, a public company is widely held, meaning it has a lot of shareholders. Basically, anything that happens to a public company that's of consequence to investors must be disclosed publicly. In addition, a private company is not required to file disclosures or anything else with the SEC. It's too soon to tell if taking Twitter private will be a Dell-like success or a Toys R Us disaster.
