Ontario announces sweeping housing changes allowing up to three units on many residential lots

The Ontario government announced sweeping housing changes on Tuesday that will override municipal zoning laws in some situations and allow for the construction of up to three units on each residential lot. Under the legislation, up to three units could be incorporated on a single residential lot without any bylaw amendments or municipal permissions. Duplexes and triplexes could also be built on single residential lots, regardless of municipal zoning laws. As part of the housing legislation, the City of Toronto will be on the hook for the creation of 285,000 new homes by 2031. The housing legislation would go into effect by the summer of 2023 if it passes, the government says.

He also coached Spain's squad, which won a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games. Luis Enrique took over the national team in 2018 to start revamping the squad after its elimination in the round of 16 of the World Cup in Russia. Luis Enrique had said he wasn't planning to relinquish the “tiki-taka” if he remained as coach, and De la Fuente also is likely to keep it alive.
