If there was ever a case that a US President was a crook, President Joe Biden is the prime example. One of Hunter Biden’s business partners on a business deal with the Chinese, Tony Bobulinski, received a text message. It also strongly implies that the Vice President knew about this and other deals with the Chinese communists and was profiting himself. It hardly stretches one’s imagination to think that the Chinese would also have inside information about Vice President Joe Biden’s involvement. If they have such evidence, it would seem likely that they could now blackmail President Joe Biden.

Police promise protection as more reports of ballot box watchers come in – Cronkite News

Sheriff Paul Penzone said those groups are often within their rights to watch a ballot drop box and that police can only do so much if the watchers are not causing a disturbance. But Penzone said voters can still safely drop off ballots, as deputies will be on alert. “We want to have a presence that reminds people to behave well,” Penzone said of the drop box watchers. The reports also sparked a lawsuit by the Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans and Voto Latino against Clean Elections USA, a right-wing group that has encouraged individuals to watch ballot drop boxes. There were no threats of violence mentioned in any of the reports Secretary of State Katie Hobbs’ office has received so far.

But most economists have said they believe the economy skirted a recession, noting the still-resilient job market and steady spending by consumers. One is the vitally important job market.

A federal appeals court late Friday issued an administrative stay temporarily blocking President Joe Biden’s plan to cancel billions of dollars in federal student loans, throwing the program into limbo just days after people began applying for loan forgiveness. Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson, one of the six attorneys general leading the effort to block the debt relief program, praised the court’s decision. The cancellation applies to federal student loans used to attend undergraduate and graduate school, along with Parent Plus loans. The Justice Department says the law allows Biden to reduce or erase student loan debt during a national emergency. The group wrote in its Supreme Court filing that it needed an emergency order because the administration could begin canceling outstanding student debt as soon as Sunday.
