Previously, all three similar tenders had only attracted interest from Wizz Air, which was the only one to submit offers in the past. Under the terms of the annulled tender, carriers applying for the subsidies had to be from Europe, have carried at least ten million passengers and generated 25 million euros in profit in 2019.
