The penalty for breaking Formula One’s spending limit is thus no penalty at all. Red Bull were judged to be in error on 13 points including accounts relating to catering, social security contributions, the supply of the Honda power unit, power train costings and travel costs. Red Bull accepted the breach as a trade against the risk of further penalties should they have challenged the FIA’s findings.

King Charles’s first Christmas message tops festive TV ratings

The 3pm address was watched by 10.7m people, making it by far the most-watched programme on Christmas Day, Barb figures showed.
