Men's college basketball Power Rankings: We have a new top 2 in Alabama and PurdueJust when it seemed like the top four or five men's college basketball teams in the country were separating themselves in the rankings, chaos ensued. In terms of quality wins, Purdue has one more Quadrant 1 win and is 9-1 against Quadrants 1 and 2, while Alabama is 10-2. Purdue has wins over Marquette, Gonzaga and Duke, while Alabama counters with a victory over Houston. Kansas Jayhawks (16-3)Previous ranking: 2This week: at Baylor (Monday), at Kentucky (Saturday)Offensively, Kansas had serious shooting issues this past week. Sinaloa state security chief Cristóbal Castañeda warned citizens via Twitter, adding that the state was responding and would inform when they could. Bauer has only served 144 games of his suspension, but an arbitrator ruled that he is eligible to be reinstated immediately. Bauer, however, will be docked his pay from the Los Angeles Dodgers through the first 50 games of the 2023 season to make up the difference. Two other women made similar assault allegations to the Washington Post, which Bauer and his legal team have also refuted. Bauer pitched like an ace in the first half of the 2021 season, posting a 2.59 ERA in 17 starts. "The state court proceedings did not necessarily decide that Bauer did not batter or sexually assault [ the woman ] ," Selna added.

Wisconsin: Wisconsin State Patrol on Thursday reported one fatal crash due to winter weather. Winter storm warnings remain in effect in New York for Buffalo, Jamestown and Watertown and will expire throughout the following couple of days. Forecasts show Jamestown could see another 8 inches of snow, Buffalo could see another 14 inches and Watertown could see another 3 feet.

Dan O’Shea came on board as the defensive coordinator for the Corona del Mar High football team in 2011. In his first two years on staff, he saw the Sea Kings lose the Battle of the Bay football game to Newport Harbor.
