This win was the first road win in San Antonio for the Wizards since 1999, snapping a 22-game losing streak. He scored the first seven points for Washington. It would be nearly impossible to find a part of the game Porzingis didn't impact positively on Monday night. FULL TEAM EFFORTWhile Porzingis, Beal, and Avdija all had fantastic individual games, it takes more than that to keep a winning streak alive. Seven different Wizards scored in double figures and the squad dished out 32 assists, leading to the assertive 127-106 victory.

Hornets Highlights vs Pelicans - 10/21/22A major point of emphasis for the Charlotte Hornets going into their home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night was getting off to a good start. Things didn’t go as planned though with the Hornets trailing big early on in an eventual 124-112 defeat. Charlotte committed six first-quarter turnovers – most of which were unforced, in the backcourt or both – leading to 15 Pelicans points and a 35-24 deficit after the opening frame. The Hornets steadied the ship after that though, later on pulling to within two with 6:44 left on the game clock. Charlotte had no answers for the Pelicans’ Jonas Valančiūnas, who finished with game highs in both points (30) and rebounds (17).
