Bleacher Report's Chris B. Haynes reported Thursday morning that the Nets would be sending the superstar to the Phoenix Suns for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four first-round draft picks, and a further pick swap. The Nets called Durant's bluff last summer, due in part because he was just beginning his four-year, $194.2 million extension. Plus, Durant's trade value was never going to be higher than it is now. Phoenix was one of the most frequently speculated landing spots when Durant first requested a trade from the Nets. There's a chance Durant's arrival isn't enough to offset all of the depth the Suns sacrificed to acquire him.

A loss in Week 18 to the Indianapolis Colts or a Chicago Bears win over the Minnesota Vikings sets up the Texans at the top of the draft order. The Texans need to lose next week to ensure they will be the top team in the draft order. Chicago can only land the top selection if it loses next week and the Texans win. The Colts are behind them in the draft order because they have a tie from earlier in the season against the Texans.

The Jazz will acquire Westbrook and a 2027 top-four protected first-round pick from the Lakers, plus Juan Toscano-Anderson and Damian Jones. The NFC North is the lone exception, as the Minnesota Vikings widened their lead Sunday. A 39-17 loss to the Dolphins dropped the Browns to 3-6 and provided another sobering indictment of Cleveland's defense. Miami is off in Week 11 and gets the Houston Texans in Week 12. Buffalo can make up ground next week since a matchup with the Browns lay ahead.
