NBA All-Star reserves 2023Other players — like Miami's Bam Adebayo, Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton and Utah's Lauri Markkanen — had reason for concern. The reserves for the Feb. 19 All-Star Game in Salt Lake City were announced Thursday night (Friday, Manila time). The Rising Stars event is Feb. 17, the first night of the three-night All-Star weekend. All-Star Saturday — featuring the 3-point contest, dunk contest and skills competition — takes center stage the next night, followed by the 72nd All-Star Game on Sunday.

SAN FRANCISCO — Jordan Poole scored the winning layup with a second remaining to cap a crazy, back-and-forth final minute, and the Golden State Warriors fought back to beat the Memphis Grizzlies, 122-120, on Wednesday night (Thursday, Manila time). Brandon Clarke had a tying dunk with 6.3 seconds left for Memphis on a pass from Ja Morant after Klay Thompson's 3-pointer with 14.6 remaining put the Warriors ahead. He converted a pair of free throws with 26.6 seconds left to put Memphis ahead before Thompson's big 3. Thompson added 24 points and his 3 with 3:38 left in the third pulled the Warriors to 81-79. Poole finished with 21 points and seven assists as the Warriors beat the Grizzlies again following a 123-109 win on Christmas Day.
